Cuban Dayron Robles Continues Stellar Performance

Havana, Cuba.-  Cuban Dayron Robles, 110 meter hurdles world record holder (12.87), recorded a 12.91 finish in Stockholm, Sweden, in another Grand Prix meet  on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old Cuban sprinter had a favourable 0.2 m/s wind and beat US trials winner David Olivier (13.04) for the gold medal.

This is the Guantanamo-born athlete's third best time this year after breaking the world record with his 12.87 finish in Ostrava, Czech Republic, 100th of a second better than Chinese Liu Xiang´s previous world record; and his 12.88 sec finish on Friday in Paris. (acn)
