Moa, Holguín, Cuba.-  The Ceproniquel nickel company based in the province of Holguin was awarded the 2007 National Quality Award in recognition to its competitiveness, economic efficiency and its efforts in energy savings.

Company director Gustavo Garcia received the award on behalf of the workers from the Minister of the Economy and Planning Dr. Jose Luis Rodriguez in a ceremony held in Havana, reported Granma newspaper.

CEPRONIQUEL also was awarded the Vanguardia Nacional award in 2007 for excellence. (acn)
